So... who's curious about what's going on in the UK? Whether you have to deal with a smug Tony Blair copy, a guy no-one's heard of or Gordon Brown?
Exit polls would say the Conservatives have a quite clear majority but not enough to take parliament. That said, a coalition of Labour and Lib Dems with these results would not make up the numbers themselves.
307 seats – Conservative Party
255 seats – Labour Party
59 seats – Liberal Democrat Party
29 seats – Other Parties

Nice title.
I say, Lib Dems > Tories > Labour.

Oh, I'm curious! I hear their flirtation with democracy has gone quite far, really.
After this latest election, do you think the BNP insurgents will resume their rebellion if their candidates fail to take regional office? I remember what happened after the latest change of power in Liberia, and I wonder if it will be like that. Do you think angry Labour Party dissidents will shell Macclesfield?

The real question now is whether the Tories have enough seats to form a minority government with Unionist parties in N. Ireland - or whether Labour and the Lid Dems will have enough together to form a coalition. It is very much on the knife edge.
Looks as if legal challenges ala the US in 2000 may come into play. Some polling stations had too many people try to vote at once and those said people could not vote before the polls closed. The legality of the election official's actions are likely to go to court.
Also the Tories only have a clear majority of votes. Our FPTP system (strangely enough used by a certain other democracy to gerrymander votes in favour of the two big parties) means the Labour and Conservative seat percentage will be vastly swollen against the percentage of votes they won.

Are people giving the British weapons now? This could spark some sort of international incident.

So. Whether or not this country moves towards Proportional representation is also in the balance.
Also - the coming cuts in public spending that any party who wins this election will have to enforce: will the unionist's power see Northern Ireland disproportionately shielded? How long in that situation will Cameron wait to call another election? In 1974 Harold Wilson didn't even see out the end of the year. It was a year from 1950 to 1951 for Attlee. 2 years from 1964 to 1966 for Wilson again.
And if the Lib Dems are king makers - will they demand GB head? It is possible, they know it might be the only way to somewhat mollify the media firestorm that will be triggered in the right-wing press if a coalition is formed.
