View Full Version : Goodbye from ShaiGar

This has nothing to do with suicide, it's pretty god damn annoying that people have to always be worried someone is going to commit suicide.

Anyway ShaiGar sent me a message saying he was leaving INTPC and to say goodbye to the following people for him:

philonightmare
April
melancholeric
Heero
Division56
EdmondZedo

That is all

Intpcentral will enter a period of mourning for three days starting at Midnight of the 8th of May GMT.

Black cloaks obligatory. ( No black hats, please. )

Hey Jemma... no, no get off your knees. Go give your ex a good bye kiss.

Kiss, I said! Kiss!

I assume this means "goodbye until I change my mind in the next day or two". Sorta like his: I hate Jemma, no I love Jemma, no I hate Jemma, no I love Jemma... routine.

SG, I am gonna be totally frank here. Firstly all the above comments show that while no one here hates you in the normal overt manner (think EZ and SB34 et al), you clearly score in the bottom half of alota peoples views (which is ok to a point, but we are "I", not hermits). Honestly, when I first came here I mistook took you for someone much younger ,like lets say maybe 12 or so. I was genuinely shocked to learn you were a few years younger than I. Point is maybe there is room for you to adjust too, not just leave and pout.

So if you stay or if you go, so be it, but try to think about this and maybe realize there is some part of you that could be reformed or refined. None of us are ever perfect so try to learn from what happens.

Interesting point helios, I thought the same thing. I kept defending him to my girlfriend saying he's just young....and that he's only like 15, he's just immature. Then I clicked on his profile one day and found he was the same age as me. Go figure.

No, it's much better if he goes :)

That name can never be heard in these hallowed halls again: she has betrayed not only him, but herself. Who could imagine an 18 yr-old girl two-timing people ? She has let us all down. His parting imprecation was earily reminiscent of Othello denouncing Desdemona. ( Apart from the fact that Othello was a half-wit, and Desdemona was innocent, and Joft would have been misinforming us if he reassured us that Othello wasn't going to commit suicide --- not that I couldn't point out 2 or 3 people here who are probably disappointed at Joft's prologue. )

Worse: now WHEN THIS WORLD BURNS (http://www.intpcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3294) has no purpose. Is there any purpose to life left ?

Claverhouse

As I was a-goin' over Gilgarra Mountain
I spied Colonel Farrell, and his money he was countin'.
First I drew my pistols and then I drew my rapier,
Sayin' "Stand and deliver, for I am your bold deceiver."
Musha ringum duram da,
CHORUS: Whack fol the daddy-o,
Whack fol the daddy-o,
There's whiskey in the jar.

He counted out his money and it made a pretty penny;
I put it in my pocket to take home to darlin' Jenny.
She sighed and swore she loved me
and never would deceive me,
Bu the devil take the women, for they always lie so easy!
Musha rungum duram da …
CHORUS

I went into me chamber all for to take a slumber,
To dream of gold and girls, and of course it was no wonder:
Me Jenny took me charges and she filled them up with water,
Called on Colonel Farrell to get ready for the slaughter.
Musha rungum duram da …
CHORUS
The uplift link doesn't support midis, but if you search the web for Kilgary Mountain or Whiskey In The Jar...

BIANCA: Leave you? Wherefore?
CASSIO: I do attend here on the General,
And think it no addition, nor my wish,
To have him see my womaned.
BIANCA: Why, I pray you?
CASSIO: Not that I love you not.
BIANCA: But that you do not love me!
I pray you bring me on the way a little,
And see if I shall see you soon at night.
CASSIO: Tis but a little way that I can bring you,
For I attend here. But I'll see you soon.
BIANCA: Tis very good. I must be circumstanced.

Bah ! ( bah ? ) Mere flirting. That dumb Moor should have just trusted his wife implicitly: and certainly not have suggested that she could only purify herself by engaging in oral sex with strangers. Nor suffocate her.

I've no patience with spouse-killing.

Not that a lot of Shakespeare's not weird a lot of the time...

Bye Gar.

Will I miss him? In the strictest sense of the word, yes. He took up a position on this forum that nobody else had - he cares least of all for other peoples opinions and as a result of that often said things just to shock them - it amused him. I'll notice he's gone for the lack of this, and so I'll miss him.

But I can't say that I will miss him personally, because I never knew him. I only saw his human side side that one time in his poems, and I think those were even then half-plagiarised, so they couldn't reflect him very well either.

I must admit that Shai Gar was the most interesting attention whore in the history of this site. His attention whoring provoked some amusing and interesting discussions and he really did post some interesting things. That being said, his "dramatic exit" is certainly just another means of attracting attention to himself, whether positive or negative. If he never posts here again (which is questionable), I can almost guarantee he will lurk without signing in to make sure he reads all of this reaction. I guess that even posting this is reinforcement for his attention seeking, but I don't mind because I actually liked the guy and I will miss all of the results of his participation here, even the attention whoring.

snert. There are many pots and kettles here in the INTP Kitchen.

I find Shai Gar quite amusing. (I know better than to refer to him in the past tense.) He's a male INTP on steroids -- intellectually precocious but emotionally immature. He surprises me often. Every so often he'd reveal another aspect of himself that blew away yet another preconceived notion I had about him.
