Where's your heart and soul? For me it's the computer desk/office.

Most important is the roof. Walls come next.

I spend most of my time at a table in the kitchen/livingroom/entire downstairs.

Office, desk.
Basement.
Spare bedroom (which becomes the "Tarot Chamber" at parties).

My futon. Where the magic happens.

And everything else. I can reach a desk, my viddygames, my computer, and the books I have in a little slide-out cabinet underneath. My apartment's 200 square feet, and I use maybe 20 of them most of the time.

My Room: has my computer, my tv/games, and serves as my own fortress of solitude.

My couches in the lounge room. I have my laptop, TV and stereo for the rare occasions that I use either and a huge window overlooking my back garden. I pretty much live there during waking hours.

I spend 90% of my time at home in my bedroom. In it I have my computers, all of my books, my guitar and harmonicas, my stereo receiver and of course my bed.

If I am not in their, I am cooking up something in the kitchen. The only item I do not keep in my bedroom is my 12" cast iron skillet which I cook everything I eat in.

Of course bathroom and kitchen are vitally important but heart & soul is my bedroom where I house my computer. Also have a TV & stereo, even though my better TV is the living room. I have "an office" but all I house is junk there. Partially set up for company. But my bedroom is where it's at. It's a good sized room but sometimes I wonder if I secretly view myself under house arrest.

I live in my swiss army bedroom. I cook in the kitchen. Bathroom is somewhere in between.

the smoking parlor aka bathroom. the acoustics amplify my shower melodies at pleasing harmonic intervals. also the only reasonable place to pop back-zits as big as a cow's eye, a pass-time i find truly fascinating.

deliberately not saying computer fap station to be contrary.

Bedroom. I have 5 roommates. My room is the only place I really have to myself.

Oh, and it's where my computer is.

I like the kitchen. It's quite large and there's food there.
I only bring the computer once in awhile if I need it for schoolwork.

My great room. I can access my Xbox, laptop, surround sound and its next to the kitchen (my second most important part of the house).

I have two I value equally: where the computer is, and where the musical instruments are.

I spend most of my home waking hours in my study ... in front of a computer or at one of my desks. Next in line are the kitchen and living room (where the television is). Some small amounts of time (too few) in the exercise room. Finally, the bedroom ... but mostly non-waking hours there.

The 20' travel trailer in my backyard. Got my comps, espresso machine, secret stash of Captain Crunch, and the dog for company...good to go till daybreak while the wife and kiddies slumber in their house.

My toilet.

It is a secondary wonder that this device provides me a convenient location to read, browse the Internet, and otherwise forget the world while slowly developing a permanent, halo-shaped depression on my ass.

Its primary function as a device that both traps and disposes of my poop is probably the one thing that makes my apartment a livable location. Without it, I'd probably cluelessly wander about, pressing my butt against walls, out windows, into buckets and soup bowls, and generally coating everything in too much gritty brown reality for me to have any hope to indulge my desire for escapism.

Since i still live with my parents, 99.9% of my time i spend in my bedroom. I have my computer, TV and stereo, along with the bookshelf and the posters, and even a little mini fridge. It is everything i need to survive till the end of time .. And whenever i am not here, i long to be. 'Tis a sheltered life i lead :p

Do you have your own bathroom? If so, then yeah, you never need to leave.

No, sadly not . But its 2 steps away from my room. (I guess i have to adjust the percentage now from 99.9% to around 95%, (i spend a lot of time reading on the can))

Most important is the roof. Walls come next. I would say the foundation is more important than either the roof or walls.

Oh, and it's where my computer is.5! I had 3 roomates for a year and I had to get out of there. I stayed until it was time to renew the lease and then moved into my own place. We had some awesome parties and all but the day to day stuff killed it.

The masturbation station, Bedroom & shitter.

The masturbation station - it's not that I feel it's important, it's just where I spend all my time. Yeah. All. My. Spare. Fucking. Time. Fuck off. I'm a lonely loser. /wrists

Bedroom - needs to be utterly dark. I turn off everything with Lights/LEDs and/or tape over them with masking tape. I need absolute darkness to sleep. SRSLY I have rubber lightproof blinds and shit. Someone find that comic with a fat guy in the darkness closing the blinds. Also, has to be dead fucking quiet. Despite being deaf with hearing people, during the night I can hear a pin drop. Like, I can HEAR the LED on my monitor go on and off. It's not really the LED, probably, I'm assuming it's just a small capacitor in there somewhere, but I can hear that tiny high pitched fucking sound and it drives me absolutely fucking nuts. I need QUIET. And the door needs a deadbolt or a lock, even if a little one. Something to buy you that extra 2 seconds to go from completely defenseless to vaguely aware and uncoordinated.

I'm not sure why I mention shitter. It's just a special place, you know. It has to feel safe. You're vulnerable in the shitter; all the pretentions of your ego are laid aside and suddenly you are disgusting and filthy. This is where you shit, piss, and puke everything you ever ate. Animals don't have this privilege, they wander around the forests and shit wherever, it drops and they forget about it. They have no ritual. No great white porcelain. No soft, gentle, ass licking roll of toilet paper. They cannot revel in their abhorrence.

Bedroom.

I have a flatmate, so my bedroom is where I sleep, relax, isolate, read, surf the net, even work occasionally.

1. bed
2. shower
3. chair by the plants/window

The first two are because sleeping and showering are the best parts of my day, the third one is because I like to procrastinate by watching my cacti grow. Right now I live in a really nice little apartment with cool roommates though, so my whole house is the best part.

I've been living in hermitude bliss for approximately the past 4 years, having previously lived with romantic partners since leaving the nest. To define and use my living space as I see fit, and to suit my mood is something I'm not likely to let go of now that I've had a substantial taste of domiciliary solitude - unless absolutely necessary.

When home, I spend most of my time in the living area - large desk with main computer, and laptop on futon, alternating between the two depending on the task at hand, with an Archos tablet by my side.
