I had modified that file once.. while my modification probably shouldn't be creating errors I will upload a previous version of the file... I also decided to comment the 'error' handling thing so hopefully it won't spit out errors..
one guess I have is that it is trying to send too many emails when someone replies to a thread for someone's subscription.. I think.. not sure entirely..

Your problem is it is written in PHP. You should rewrite it in assembly. Machine code is another option.

maybe you should get started it on it and then based on how much progress you make on it in your lifetime.. then.. we will go through an evaluation perioid..

I am wondering. Is PHP a language? Or is it more of an interface-ish thing like CGI?

PHP is considered an interperter language but because of the syntax it's just easier to lump it in with programming languages in general.
