Good description of the INTP?
The Nerd Handbook (http://www.randsinrepose.com/archives/2007/11/11/the_nerd_handbook.html)
What about
N.A.D.D (http://www.randsinrepose.com/archives/2003/07/10/nadd.html)
or
The Cave (http://www.randsinrepose.com/archives/2006/07/10/a_nerd_in_a_cave.html)

Entertaining blog, I'm surprised that I hadn't run across it before. I have two Caves: my office/studio and my kitchen, although I don't mind being interrupted or talking to people while I'm the kitchen flow. Also, identify a lot with this little blurb:
For any given piece of incoming information, your nerd is making a lightning fast assessment: relevant or not relevant? Relevance means that the incoming information fits into the system of things your nerd currently cares about. Expect active involvement from your nerd when you trip the relevance flag. If you trip the irrelevance flag, look for verbal punctuation announcing his judgment of irrelevance. It’s the word your nerd says when he’s not listening and it’s always the same. My word is “Cool”, and when you hear “Cool”, I’m not listening.
Lastly, I like his Vegas Philosophy. I take a very similar albeit less social approach to Sin City.

After further perusal, much of the IT/management ranting in here: IT management (http://www.randsinrepose.com/cat_management.html) is totally fucking on point.
IT nerds, can I get a "what, what?!"
But seriously, so much of that is so close to my daily work reality that it's scary.

I got the book, more useful for the beginner than the experienced nerd, but there are a few tidbits in it.
