View Full Version : Notification emails horribly malformed

No "from" field, wreaks havoc with my filtering software.

Also, there do not seem to be any linebreaks in the body of the message, so URLs are not automatically detected by many mail readers.

I have mentioned this 3 times, elsewhere, whining like a dog waiting too long for his supper.

But I need the filtering even more than the clickable links. Sobs.

And while you're about it, why not design a neat little site-icon for the browser :D ;P :D

you mean favicon ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon ?

Quite. Although anyone running Firefox will know that these being stored in the cache vanish like bubbles once the browser or computer cuts out, leading to much merry laughter and wry amusement.

But it does look pretty when you've got them.

You could have a little competition for members to design one. Cats are always good.

Claverhouse

 An' you'd think mozilla could damn well sort it out: make a secondary permanent cache or something. Rant, rant, rant.

You added a favicon to the 'Bookmarks' ( not to the browserpage ) of a giant white 'A' on a blue background.

How soon the buzz goes after an achievement... Or you did it in your sleep or something. :D

Congratulations to you or any of your imps who did this.

I have a feeling it has stopped working as a result of what I did in this thread:
http://www.intpcentral.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=463
I will change it back but if any errors occur as a result then.. I'm not sure what action I should take..

By logical process just tell us to suck it up :D

I was just wondering if it could be fixed, if that causes problems, then no ^_^

from the looks of it, the thing I commented out would have not actually affected emailing stuff which means it is broken.. I am going to recommend upgrading to vbulletin.
