One of the miseries and follies of Firefox, amongst others, is that the Bookmark tree is scarcely editable. IE is not nice, but it does have the supreme merit that you can edit, drag'n'dropping bookmarks, in Windows Explorer etc.. In Fx you can only do it on the browser, because it's an HTML file.
Still, this free app Bookmark Manager, either from BM Web-Site (http://bkm.sourceforge.net/) or SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/bkm/), means you can import any bookmarks file from IE/Mozilla type/Opera and edit it far more easily using drag'n'drop. Note it works easily but is not particularly intuitive: you first create a new file before importing the bookmarks file into that. It then takes a long time to import without indicating what is happening ( my bookmarks is over 2 mb ): I'm guessing you then export it back to the original position in your profile. The help file is non-existent, so read up at the site first.
A great application.

Also, when installing the .exe file, it stopped, saying it could not replace a particular .dll in c:/windows/system. All apps warn you to turn off all other processes during installation, but are usually tolerant of normal background stuff. In this case I had to turn off windows explorer, and process-kill Rnaapp and Essspk ( I'd already turned off the internet connection... ).
