Hey there, I'm a 16 year old from southern New Jersey. I've been getting into this Myers-Briggs stuff since the start of the summer, when my dad (ENTP) introduced it to me.

Anyways, I always found myself a bit of an enigma in school. I wasn't the "romantic/ugly duckling" type (which I've learned to be NF's), but I obviously weren't the common kids (S's galore). I had my own theories about it. I found it hard to believe that some people actually are geniunely interested and sensitive to other's feelings. I always believed it to be a facade.

Well, I learned. My dad always believed me to be an INTP, and I tested out as one on a bunch of onlines tests (a lot of them I found to have too few questions, many of which vague and judgmental). I'm not completelycertain on the strengths of each types, although when is a P ever certain ;) ?

I'd have to say I'm a weak to moderate introvert, distinct intuition, distinct thinking (although on the first test I took, I tested as a weak F. It didn't sound right to me, maybe I'm really an XNTP and have F is my tertiary function, but I share heckuva alot more with T than F, and on more thorough tests that shows), and moderate P.

So yeah, enough of that crap, this looks like a good board. Let's have a ball, eh?

Online tests don't mean as much since they're not "official" tests.. so what you need to do is read up on the various types and just compare and contrast..
this is a good essay about intp:

Yes, yes, I read it and many of them out there already. And I find them to fit pretty good.
