Hey,

I'm on wireless in a hotel room and lately the signal quality has gone way downhill. I lose my connection repeatedly and keep bouncing access points. I think it is probably interference caused by some construction project that's just started next door.

Anything I can do to keep my connection more consistent and signal quality high?

I'd do a web search but well, my connection keeps dropping!

Thanks.

Turn off your cell phone if you have one or move it as far away as possible. Unplug the room phone if it's a cordless phone. Move away from electrical outlets and the assumed electrical wiring path in the walls. Don't rest the computer on your bed. That's about all I can think of at the moment.

Turn off your cell phone
I wish. I'm on call, heh.

But I did have it sitting just an inch or two away from the wireless adapter. So I moved it across the room.

Now what's this about the bed? I have a USB adapter on a long cord and I do lay the adapter across the bed... I'll try to find some way to make it dangle off something. Thanks for the tips!
