alright, I finished the 'shit work' but it still upsets me that I got delegated any of it at all.. I don't like playing too many roles at work.
sigh

at least your are not flipping burgers or making French fries for 5.75 an hour. I like my job. It is ok, but I hate being put on fry duty.

a friend of mine has the same job as me. She hates it, but whenever she feels frustrated or angry about it, She thinks of people who are looking for a job, and can't find them. So she is grateful for what she has, even though it is a dead end job. Jobs, where I come from are so hard to find. No one seemed to be hiring, So I am glad I got this job. It is better thatn nothing.

HAHA! Been there, except for cooking fries was my main job. I thought it would be "easy money" ha! Those timers are tricky, and I manipulated them so I didn't have to cook so many fries. Alot of people got cold, stale fries. Fuck them. I also usually had a case of the munchies, so I'd eat the fries off of the tray with my hands. It was a shit job so I treated it like one, and made shit fries.

well working at the restuarant was better than selling cutco.

Yuk, jobs.
I'll probably end up teaching and/or researching. Too slow to "do" anything, too forgetful/irresponsible/independant for any duties.

<sharpens Cutco knife> I'll say. Most people laugh when I tell them how I ended up with this set. </ sharpens Cutco knife>

How did you get it? I mean those sets were way over priced! They are awesome knives though. Who has 843.00 to spend on a home maker set? Seriously.
They were a gift. I don't know why...the person who bought them for me really wanted to get me a good set of knives a couple years ago, but we had already got some ourselves. Either they forgot or the desire became overwhelming, but they showed up on our doorstep.
Our first reaction was "wtf are we gonna do with all these knives." I kept 2 of them, but the others have been given away piece by piece.

You're too smart to be doing that. I hope you're not doing it for a living.
Otherwise, I'll start promoting socialism again.

yeah I know, but they were the only ones hiring. It is so hard to find a job where I live. I probably only got the job, because my friend put in a good word for me. I am not planning to do this for a living. I want to go into the art field. (God help me!) I don't want to be a starving artist though. I am thinking about becoming an art teacher. I don't know, I just want to be able to paint and print for a job.
I just read a chapter on how to get grants for being an artist when I was at the bookstore. I don't remember the name of the book though, but it made things out to be pretty optimistic.
