I haven't seen any difference in operation since I upgraded. All it does is look different.

Aargh! For the love of sanity, use something other than WMP! It's bulky bloatware that doesn't really have anything going for it save those nifty, hypnotic visualizations... But you can get those in WinAmp too, which I wholly recommend.

I don't use WMP... I did for a long time, then switched to Media Player Classic, because it's smaller and it plays EVERYTHING.
