Actually, this is a pretty broad topic. There's still lots that can be asked about the subject that hasn't been covered.

Well.....I'm hoping to learn how to play the pan flute :)......so I may be able to answer the poll soon :D

Guitar, so strings... I plan on trying to learn playing the flute, though... sometime.

I voted strings too, but for me it's not really fair to "stereotype" musical instruments. Strings can be used as percussion instruments too, along with the piano, and percussion instruments can carry melodies of sorts - especially trap sets with myriad cymbals and drums. Same for woodwinds and brass instruments, and the voice (don't forget the voice, which is awesome!)...though I'm sure you didn't really mean to expose or endorse any prejudice with this thread, Poison Okra. :D

Trumpet for me. I dabbled in euphonium over the summer, though. Brass, then.
