View Full Version : int's Kid's Sex
We're heading to the doc tomorrow. Chances are, we won't find out the sex at this appointment. But there is a slim possibility we will. Either way, we should find out next month at the latest. I may be jumping the gun, but I'm interested in seeing whose N is working. :) :D
I'll get to the wive's tales if anyone is interested.
<edit> Maybe in 16 years or so we can talk about gender. :) </edit>

I voted male and I'm 6 out of 7 at the moment.

a girl
:( Doc is making us wait.
Ah well. It's kinda fun pondering both scenarios (or all three...). :)

I voted girl because I have a strong "feeling" that it is. Don't know why.

int knows, but he's just toying with us

That was the first thing I considered. Not for any particular reason ( ), but regardless, his "toying" should'nt skew the results.

A girl. Or at least it should be. :)

Hmmm, hermaphrodite is running strong. Int, have you figured out how you would handle the situation? :D
We joke about it quite a bit.
The other day she was looking at a Chinese calendar and if May is a girl and June was a Boy, we were borderline (conceived in between two days. I'll save you the specifics).
Another online "wive's tale" test gave her 50/50 results.
So I dunno. Flip a coin, I guess???

That's what I'm hoping everyone is operating on when they vote (like there's anything else to operate on...).

My first thought was a girl, I think because it provides a sort of aesthetic symmetry to your personality int. I was tempted to change my mind because it seems like the popular choice so far (at least response wise). ;)
Though have a bad feeling about disagreeing with nobarcode, not quite sure why.
I'm not that shady. You guys on the other hand ...
:) :)
Honestly I don't know for sure. I have my own intuition though (and I voted)...

I thought female but I voted male because I just felt like not doing what I thought you know.

I voted boy. Either way, though, you will have a child who you mean everything to, atleast until (New Pronoun!) turns 13.

Old Mexican way: If the shape of the belly is sorta like a water-drop (you know, the round part towards the bottom) then it's a boy. If it's just round all over then it's a girl.
This, of course, considering that you can tell already. For some reason it always works...but it's not failure-proof. I think it's a girl.

Most transgender folks say that they wished they had a choice -- stay herm until their 18th birthday, then get the surgery of their choice.

Old Mexican way?! Weird, we have this "old traditional" thing over here too.

how long has your wife been pregnant, int?
She's 16 weeks, this week. She'll be 17 weeks next week. :)

Yeah but is the belly round or pointing? :D Try to remeber, this is reliable... of course then, I have to accept that I was born a boy, despite the physical evidence that say otherwise. LOL

Er, if it reflected a truth then it would be bound to be a general truth.

(...not that you were asking me.)
Actually, she's pretty happy when people notice.

Lol, yay, it's been proven then, but, int, you might have to wait a bit, like I said :]
My manager at the grocery store I worked at before did this weird thing, she was carrying around some white-grain-things and then she went to spit on them when nobody was looking and if they turned blue it was a girl, and if they stayed the same it was a boy. They were blue, she showed it to all of us, and she did have a girl, bizzarre though.

OK. We go in for an ultrasound tomorrow. She had one last week, but the kid was upside down or something, so the doc couldn't tell. Hopefully, we'll know by this time tomorrow.
Hmmm...doc is 90% sure. Is that sure enough to post about?

I was 85.71% sure, and I took a stab at it. :) So why not?

Hey, you've failed to account for a sudden evolutionary event (or whatever they're called). What if the baby is asexual?
Well, considering there's a labia I think it's safe to rule out the evolutionary event.
It's a girl. :) :) :)

That's actually a problem. We had a boy's name picked out but we can't settle on a girl's. :(
