Well, I figure that I can't delay it anymore. I have to write my mini-bio, especially considering that I'm a mod. :D


Well, how do I start? I got into personality types about a year ago. I was rather sad that there were no intp forums, but I brushed it off as no big deal. I didn't bother to join the mailing list. Then around Feb-March I had the urge to start a forum. I was doing a quick check to make sure no one had started one before I made my own, and low and behold, up pops N-Gene's site. So, I joined this one and made this one instead.

I was the 64th member, but I've exceded all other members in post-count since. I'm a real chatter-box. It is nice how much the forum has grown in the past few months. I remember when it was normally about 8 of us.

I speak some basic German and I'm still working on it. I also devote a small amount of time to Yiddish and next year I have to learn French for school. Don't worry about me though, I'm an intp, I can handle as many languages as they throw at me. :D ;)

Sorry Gene, all of my languages are Western-centric. If I go for another language (I forgot to add that I'm also doing Latin) it will be Japanese.

Finnish is Western ! It's only real relation is Magyar, I believe. Both extremely hard for non-speakers... I guess you could say they came from east of the Urals, but then so did we all ( Europeans ) allegedly.

I frequently have flashbacks to the time I was a Scythian warrior.

Well, I was raised a Republican too. But I ain't one! B)

I was never a homophobe, but I was a racist little fucker until around 12-13. One day all that started to change, don't know why. By the time I was in the mid-13s, I was a full blown liberal. :nerd:

somehow I had the notion that nobody in their clear mind would start studying German without having to...

on the other hand...replace clear mind with normal mind, be proud of the unnormal one and it fits :D

Given the choice between Spanish, German, and French in high school, German is the obvious choice. Everyone studies Spanish because that's what Americans are most likely to encounter, but I don't want to do what everyone else does. Most of you are INTPs ... you understand. As for French ... that's just not right. :lol:
