View Full Version : It is I the one and only, the only one

Good afternoon fellow INTP's, finally I have found others of my species.
I have decided that introducing myself was a good idea to let people get to know me and vise versa. I hope no one will hesitate to engage me with any type of banter, discussion, argument, etc. In fact I hope I have many of said interactions with many of youz guyz.
It was only recently that I figured out that I am of the INTP personality type, and it has brought new perspective to my life. I have known of my introverted tendencies for quite some time now as I find it almost impossible to conduct myself in the 'real' world. And now to find whole sites dedicated to me and my species. Finally I may actually feel as if I 'fit in' somewhere. I have been looking around the site, and have come to the conclusion that I will probably become somewhat of a permanent fixture here, and let youz into some of my worlds through many of the discussions already in progress, and perhaps some that I may begin myself. So, until I have finished with the abundance of reading that this site will provide and start posting, please feel free to ask any question or make any comments as I feel my introduction has not been much of an introduction, but more of a rambling.
So, until we meet again Peace, Love and down with the government.

What am I doing with my life? That, my friend, is a very good question. Within this life I have been obtaining knowledge so as to become a better person, one who treats others with the respect or disrespect they deserve. Preparing myself for an infinite 'life' (for lack of a better word) amongst the 'everything'. To become one with the multiverse upon my jetison from this body.
As for the 'normal' answer to that question: For the past couple of years I have been going to school, and in just over a month I will be graduating with a Bachelor degree in Business Operations. In that time frame, working so I can support my education and living, reading, lifting weights, and living the good life. (That being one of solitude of course)
Recently I realized that working for 'the man' is not my idea of very much fun and am probably going to start buying production equipment to make beats. So it is a possibility Mr. Good Beats could become a household name. From there I will infiltrate the minds of unsuspecting extroverts to do my bidding. And from there, I am thinking of ways to become supreme ruler of the world as there would only be room for one person at the top. Yes, perhaps I have dillusions of grandeur, but it keeps me occupied.

While Zedo may have been extremely blunt and tactless about it, the fact of the matter is that you do come across as a bit... overly energetic...

I do not think the best word to describe my views would be either energetic or spastic. I think it could be described as out-there, weird, etc, etc. I do not even really believe that, I was trying to get some interesting convo started. But, it seems like the same ignorant ass people I have been putting up with my whole life keep on finding me and like to start shit with me (although only in the cyber realm, as people tend to leave me alone in the 'real' world) so if Mr. Zedo wants to start shit then come with some good shit, not some grade three my dad's better than your dad shit. Seriously.

I don't think Zedo was commenting on your views as much as on your conversation style (could be wrong, as I'm not Zedo). But your conversation does strike me as slightly off-puttingly energetic.
But again, that's just my opinion; disregard as you see fit.

I believe that I may come as "off-puttingly energetic" because of the fact that I have basically lived inside of my head for the past 22 years, with hardly any contact with the outside world. Yes I have had many friends and aquaintances over the years, but non of which I have been able to fully express myself with, as I am lead to believe, through the reading and research that I have done, that not only am I an INTP but also suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder. After finding out about sites dedicated to INTPs, well yes it does pump me up that perhaps I would be able to converse with someone without feeling that I will be utterly embarrassed as I do with people face to face, and I also get very worked up about certain things as you may have already guessed. I am very emotional for an INTP. This could be due to the fact I am a piscean INTP

I understand. But, when people are drawn to you, but still can not get your head around the ider that they actually do not care what you think of yourself, it is incrediably hard to think that anyone would want to have anything to do with you. So to start up here and right away get blasted by, what I view as, the same garbage I believe I have been getting for years it starts to confirm, in my mind, all of the negative notions that come to my mind constantly about me. Does that make sense?

Mr. Good Beats, I do not believe that we have many posters that bring their dialect with them to the board. The combination of the words that you choose to use along with your eager posting style come off as 'newbie-ish'.
Not that I have a problem with anything anyone posts. Just offering my thoughts.

Thoughts are what I am looking for. Not petty name calling. Because sticks and stones will break my bones, but name will give me fucked up complexies. Now that I have eased my troubled mind, if you catch my meaning, and in retrospect perhaps there was a slight of spazztic. So, from now on anyone who reads this can call me Spazz Master Ace, sort of as a forget me not.

We INTPs may not be very good at Feeling, but many of us are high up there on the sensitivity-hence emotionality-scale. Your enthusiasm upon finding a common tribe to join is understandable; I can tell that it is probably circumstantial and not the ordinary. Zedo is just..whatever. It is best not to get in a pissing match with a skunk, so to speak. (Not directly calling you a skunk Mr. Z) but if you react to a post such as his, as opposed to responding to it, the postings escaslate getting rather nasty and unpleasant re; Shai Gar. Anyway, please feel welcome.

Anyway, Spazz and spastic is not a very pleasant insult, you know. It's the crassest form of insult as it disrepects the unintended and vulnerable in society.

Re : what does 'nice' mean in England/Britain.
It has had a few meanings over the years (including 'accurate' I think!).
But in today's world here it just means hmm kinda cool or pleasant but not amazingly special.
So to give you a context, a better than average meal is nice, rather than excellent.
Is a Brit says you look nice today, they are trying to pay you a compliment but too shy to do it brazenly. They are probably INTP...
