here's my take on the whole washing your hands phenomenon.
from the age of 1 day to age maybe 5 or 6 washing hands is very unimportant. in fact, getting dirty, going outside having snot run down your face is a very good thing. well.. you ask why? being too clean at such a young age does not allow someone to build their immune system properly leading someone to be vulnerable to more illnesses, sicknesses and disease!.. of course I have no idea if any of this is a fact but who is going to disagree? I was even wondering if feeding a baby their own poop would help build their immune system and protect them but without having any babies to experiment on, I suppose I will never know.

Nah, I take showers alot and there is always a spider in the bath tub when I go in. I just put the spider on my hand and move it to somewhere the water won't get it.

I prefer to torment it, before spraying it with deodrant and setting it on fire.

you... evil you!! Some reason i felt really guilty when i flushed a poor earwig down the toilet a couple weeks ago. Maybe it's because the little bugger put up a fight, didn't go down the first flush and the second flush just sunk it in. It was already in the toilet, not evil enough to throw it in there. :(

I get those pangs of guilt when I kill bugs too, especially when I see them struggling to stay alive! I avoid killing bugs unless they're threatening me, and have found myself rescuing a drowning moth more than once. I feel no remorse killing mosquitoes though.

Slug salter here too. It's the only way to get any movement out of them.

 .... Men and boys are notorious for not washing their hands

I must be abnormal ¬_¬. I've always washed my hands....I find it quite sick if I don't.

Me too. I wash my hands whenever I enter a kitchen or leave a restroom.

I keep a couple of index cards for moving bugs outside. The house is still spider central though; it's cool.

 I love it -- that phrase really made me smile. I'm gonna start trying to sell that. "Alien Despair Gel." I think there's a market for that!
