I decided to move ecosys.mp3 out of this thread (http://forums.intpcentral.com/showthread.php?t=5684). Dial-up people be warned, it's a 9MB download.

I like. Belongs on a soundtrack for the next Tim Burton film. :)

Moody. I can't say I like it - because it is not really the kind of music you can like, imo. It's not a mp3 you turn on and decide to have a listen to. It does evoke feelings in me of desolation, dampness (water), longing and harmony - which i think is what your song works best for. Like TPol said - it sounds like soundtrack stuff.

It's been a while since I listened to ambient. This I like as much as the best Vangelis songs, actually.

Wow, this is quite amazing. You've got alot of stuff going on in this song, almost too much in some parts. Was this made with Vst Instruments? Or Sound Fonts maybe?

I used only the standard Reason setup, except for the harp which I sampled from a sound card wavetable synth. I did spend several hours on putting together a neat NN-XT patch that allows you to play a basic orchestra with your keyboard, though. It's heavy on the CPU and memory. :)
