sounds interesting, i might take take it then at some time, but at the moment iam not aware why that is not the same info you get from an mbti test

And it also saves your results for you and gives you a link you can post to forums and show people.

took it again.. http://socionics.wsphere.com/cgi-bin/beta3testresults.cgi?1537675573508.html

It would be nice if it was made clear what the results mean. Perhaps a heading and a short blurb before you show each section. IMO, the info isn't well organized, and because of that I just look at the letters in blue.

I am still working on the test format ... I am not very (Te) oriented, so I have to experiemnt around with what I have. Especially since I am the only person writting the test.

I didn't like this one:

You think that almost everything can be analyzed

How to interpret? Put the emphasis on "almost" or ignore it? :)
..I chose to ignore it.

Those results functionally make you look like an ENTp, but you think you are INTp ...

You are probably ENTp ...

Assuming that the test was fed honest input, he lacks usage of [Te] ... [Te] is the vehical by which an INTp realizes what their foundational function [Ni] feeds them. Because of that, the functions line up in a way that he or she could only be typed ENTp or INTj ...

WTF that results page could use some "tweaking" alls i know for certain was that the blue letter type was intp and after that i went to la-la land

Just so that we do not get any misunderstandings... Socionics INTj:s have the same dominant and auxilliary functions as an MBTI INTP while the INTp and the INTJ are rougly similar. I am an INTP in MBTI and an INTj in socionics,I just have to discount the possible confusions with the J/P scale. The rest of the page makes sense if one understands socionics theory. I will see if I could dig up a decent resource for that.

rmcnew
16 Aug 2005, 08:09 PM
Johan is correct, that is why many of you who think you are INTps according to MBTI functionally show up as INTj on the socionics scale.

By the way, the big blue type is not necessarily your indicated type according to socionics. If you score INTp on that, you still may be a socionics INTj ... in fact, a good majority of you seem to be socionics INTjs. I have only seen maybe less than 6 of you so far that are both INTp in socionics and MBTI ...

ENTp/INTj

Remember, this is socionics, so compared to MBTI, the P/J is switched. In Socionics, the J/P dichotomy is lowercase (see above).

This is the first time I get such a high score for Ne, but the rest seems to be almost invariable (on this test).

Its saying socionics xNFp. (looking at the raw function data, ENFp was the only one that made sense, but I guess there is something to be said for the "confidence" which indicated INFp)
