Okay... it's introduction time.
I like roleplaying games (current game: Adventure!)
I'm a reading addict. If I don't read something at least once every 24 hours I start shivering like a crack addict without his fix.
And now just because I feel contrary I shall change this introduction into a mini rant...
Actually I just changed my mind again.
This should tell you that I have a great P-ness
I shall now go to the ranting section. I hope this place has one.
P.S. I wish this place had spelling control

Eep! questions!
I'm young. Early 20s
The avatar is Dream, one of the Endless. A creation of Neil Gaiman.
This Dream is the second Dream to ever exist (this makes more sense if you've read "the Sandman")
I'm currently studying Educational Science. I might switch to Psychology however.
[Edit: I've also just discovered that I gave someone elses e-mail addy when I registered... eep!]

Welcome! You should fit right in, there are several threads in which to discuss the topic and clear information on how to evaluate your own.

I'm into... mainly X-men comics actually. It's the only ones I can get and I don't like spending too much on them anyway.
I browsed through the sandman books at the store. Just enough to get a good impression and fuel my imagination. Now I can _experiance_ Sandman instead of just reading it. The Endless go through my imagination daily now.

I've got quite a few x-men comics. Magneto caused alot of chaos lately.
I have to order all my comics through the mail because I have no local shop, doesn't cost much for shipping too which is cool.

ahh.. yes, Dream.. I have all the Sandman books in graphic novel format.(books 1 - 10, or is it 11) I just didn't recognize Dream. I also have all the Preacher graphic novels but Preacher is boring compared to the Sandman series.

You know I never really understood the precise meaning of Glomping.
I wonder what the etmology is of it? How is it different from a hug?
Does it involve a growl followed by a jump?

WARNING: THERE MIGHT BE X-MEN COMIC SPOILERS AHEAD!
I've been reading summeries to keep up with what happens in the Marvel universe.
Changing Nightcrawlers origin AGAIN! At least their staying in the same theme. I remember the rumors that he was related to Belasco. Or that he would become him.
And that stuff with Polaris? I'm sorry is this a comic or a soap opera? Even if it's true how come they never found out about her true parentage before? At least she seems to have a better control of her powers.
I heard something about Sage.. please tell me it ain't true!

:nerd: I want the Sandman books as well! Yeah when Dream... changed he's point of view he apparently changed other things as well. Like his fashion sense. I wonder what makes the sandman series so.. great? If I ever had enough money to spare I might buy them. Family heirloom ;)
So whats Preacher about?

Haha, kudos to you, you made me giggle aloud in a room full of strange people :o
Glomping can have a growl, yes, but it's just usually the spontaneous jump followed by the hug, sometimes it involves making people fall on the ground, but I am not that good at it :D
