Yet another old tune of mine.
The Hold That She Has On Me (http://hexchild.crypt.cx/music/holdonme.mid) (119753 bytes)
Because this is a MID file, it will sound slightly different on different sound cards.
(more music by me (http://forums.intpcentral.com/showpost.php?p=165574&postcount=12))

This may be a dumb question...
Why midi?
Midi makes me feel like I'm sitting at the idle loop of a bad video game, or being slowly dissected in a Chuck E Cheese (http://www.chuckecheese.com/html/inside.html) basement. Midi comes from the same place as nightmares.

There is no such thing.
Why midi?
Pick any of the following:
1) MID files are tiny and take virtually no time to download
2) .WAV files were too large for my hard drive at the time
3) I was way too lazy to record to .WAV at the time
4) The MID format is a dying breed and needs support
5) I'd like to bring you nightmares, but I can't, so I bring you MID files instead.
Should I perhaps record these files the way they were supposed to sound (ie. using my sound card) and put a few MP3s up as well?

No, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots (http://despair.com/cluelessness.html).

Yes.

A little cheesy for my taste, but speaking musically (if you played all the instruments yourself) you getz bizzy. You ever try your hand at hip-hop?

Way back I think I was occasionally influenced by it. But I've never made any full-fledged hip-hop track.

Well as of today I'm saying that you should officially give it a go, as I have this thing on a loop and I'm loving it (still a bit cheesy for my liking).

Thanks for sharing your midi creations with us. This one is a little too "jazzy" for our tastes (hubby & I), but we're still be-bopping to your "one for the kids" from the other thread. :)
