Well, I've already stated my opinion on this, but here it is again:
Why not? It cannot hurt, and may do some good.

I think the issue why have one just to have it? just have one because there is a women's forum ?.. in all fairness, a woman's is going to significantly different then any male. unless you're a male and you have females objectify you...

Indifferent to it...I have no problem with the guys posting in the male forum at all...and if they want one I have also no problem with it.

Since the majority of us here are male, I would think that it would alienate the female INTPs, which I enjoy.

I wouldn't mind if you guys would put up a male forum, but that isn't going to stop me from posting in it. Hee Hee Hee. ;)

With what condiment?
We don't need a male forum to be alienating. ;)

I don't think we need an Male forum. Actually I was going to suggest the Women's only forum might be better as a "relationships" forum. It seems like most of the posts there are like that. Plus I still feel hesitant to post there despite the fact that I'm interested in discussing these type of things. I know I shouldn't worry about, but asking me to not worry is pretty futile :D

Agreed. Or perhaps the "women only!" thing could be removed from the Women's forum.

A male forum is to this forum as a 'white male history' month would be to our culture. I'm not playing the feminist card, it's just seems to me that a woman's forum was needed mainly because we're not as well-represented among INTPs (or NTs, or thinkers, for that matter) as men are.

That's not to say I even hardly post in the female forum, I just think a male forum would be redundant. I at least understand the intended purpose of the female one.

I agree with both statements and even thought about posting about it before, but didn't think it was bothering anyone else. I'm all for it being about general gender and/or relationship issues. This would still give the women on the board a place to post and communicate with other females, but feel less exclusive for the males who also have an interest in the topics there.

Or the "women only" forum could stay intact and a new forum entitled "Relationships" could be created! *gasps sarcastically*

they're closely related. Personally I think 20 subforums for a board with so little activity is ridiculous and a lot of them need to be eliminated and combined with the broader forums, but again that's just my opinion.

good point..maybe the women's forum and proposed relationships forum could be combined into one...."estrogen and you" ...us girls can complain about problems specific to our gender, and guys can complain about problems they perceive to be a result of what's specific to the female gender :)

"Estrogen and you" - nice!
Whatever... doesn't really matter to me, but it seems unnecessary with all the testerone on the board.

is that a water fountain... ? or... ?
It is a water fountain, but doesn't it look like a urinal?
file cabinet
8 Oct 2004, 04:39 AM
no.. because I don't drink out of urinals... unless that is the joke... ?
Ok... seperate water fountains (think Segregation before Civil Right Movement)... Augusta Golf Club is famous and has a controversial men only policy... Men only forum... nevermind.
I thought they looked like urinals at first glance, but they are indeed water fountains. :D Kinda funny, too.
I think a women only forum isn't necessary either, since boys can post and read.
Well, I will just go entertain myself.

I saw that and thought "dildo".

mmm.. personally my initial reaction was that it was a sphere cut in half with a man laying inside with his nose poking out. I have never seen a dildo look like that though..

I know a guy that has one just like that, except it's black.. I think he uses it in the shower by sticking it on the wall.
