went to the movie theater and of course I had not heard of 75%+ of the movies but we settled on one called 'vaintyfair' which is actually quite interesting and I would recommend it to anyone who is at the movie theater and doesn't know what to choose. the movie was a little more than 2 hours long.. I had a hard time deciding if the ending was really a happy ending though.

edit: dammit, this should be in the entertainment section

Would that be... Thackeray you are talking about ? Was there a nice little girl called Beckie in it ? Set in the 1820s ? A cynical yet avuncular air ?

Or was it set in the Conde-Nast offices ?

Do tell.

The date of the film might help. 1936 ? 1952 ? 1988 ? 2002 ?

I went to see that just recently...it was good, they could have ommitted some things though, to make the movie shorter. I think the end was happy, and it was a good ending, it suited the story.
