I made the ASU bowling team, and i have a month and a half to move into the 4th spot so i can travel to the first tournament. :D Otherwise, Ill be able to go to the next ones. 205 average
 ok you can wake up now.
I was on a league in North Phoenix the year before I moved. My average was 130.
And this one time, at band camp, I bowled a 269.

I could get really good, if I practiced... but I don't. I can get the ball to do what I want to do, about 75% of the time... the problem I have is pins that mock me. Looks like a strike... but there's that one wobbler. I'm ok at getting the ball to go straight... but not so much so for picking off spares.

I have never met a worse bowler than I am.
My average is something like 70.. maybe less. Probably 50.

I love to bowl, but I am not that good at it.

We used to have to bowl in gym class (fresh. year). I usually averaged about a 67, though I did manage to get the high, high score of a 99 once. The sadest part is my team (the only other member being a girl who was about as bad as I was) never got below third place in the class. I think we even managed to nab 1st one week...

I've played 3 games in my life. My scores were 40, 47, and 60.

I think I could be good if I practiced. Once a year at work we do a team bowling event, to build a sense of the "team player". I dread it because I am not one of the best bowlers, and I'm out of practice.
I used to be better at it, but we are competing against the CFO and his team, who is really really good, so we don't compare. If I've practiced I can be pretty good. It takes being really "in the flow" and requires a lot of concentration, like golf does. I have bowled I guess about 30 times. Took a class in it actually. So I am just an occasional recreational bowler, and once a year is about it anymore.

Just for the record, its a stupid sport like golf and really frustrating to get good at. :P
I'd suggest against trying to get really good because it requires so much effort to get over 200, and it costs too much money unless you know people. :)

Why "stupid?" Outside of the obvious "it serves no purpose in the grand scheme of things" reason. :P :)
