Greetings, everyone. I'm new here, as you might've guessed, but I've been keeping my eye on this forum for quite awhile now, and have finally decided to join. Actually, I visit the archive at www.intpcentral.com more frequently; those older threads are quite interesting. Anyway...I know you'll welcome me with open arms. :o

Have any of you ever wanted to be "of" the opposite gender? Why?

Well, not necessarily wanting to be of the opposite gender, but out of curiousity why not? ;)
It's an experience I will, uhh...never experience, so I haven't spent a lot of time wondering - but it has crossed my mind, out of curiosity I guess.
Why do you ask?

I've thought about being the opposite gender, but never wanted to be. You know, just thoughts like "I wonder what it feels like to be a guy", but I like my position as a girl.

Hi.
Nope, don't want to be of the opposite gender; I like having an extra appendage. Wouldn't want to catch 'the envy' you know...

what does your username mean?
where are you from?
what is your gender?
what are you doing with your life?
what do you want to be doing with your life?
you mentioned some of the archived threads are interesting, if you wanted to stir up an old topic, I would encouraging starting a thread then linking to it then we could continue the discussion.

In Norse mythology, Niflheim ("house of mists") is the far northern region of cold and darkness, and located on the lowest level of the universe. Helheim, land of the dead, lies within Niflheim. No one (not even the gods) can leave this place, for the mighty river Gjoll surrounds it.
Therefore, Niflheimian means "one whose home is Niflheim."
(made the word myself)

Well, in this modern age you can move from that dismal place.
Even Gods didn't have access to powerboats.
Things have changed; I wonder if anyone's told the poor souls that's been trapped on the other side of the river all this time.

Well, at least your membership to the INTP forum hasn't been barred. Dare we spread the word, Niflheimian?
And, of course, welcome. :sombrero:

But...I meant that no one can leave Helheim...perhaps I wasn't clear enough? (or maybe I don't get the "joke")
Besides, I'm no resident of Helheim, just Niflheim.
In any event, who says we can't have modern technology on the lowest level of the universe?

I assumed the Gjoll river was actually mighty enough to prevent the gods from obtaining internet access, and that Niflheim and Helheim were both surrounded by the river. Please forgive my errors. :sombrero:

If I let my stabler sell you some of Sleipnir's dung, and it's costing an absolute fortune to get a coupla ounces on Ebay, you would never want anything else in the world, ever.

I'm assuming that you'd smoke it. But people can do lots of other stuff too: inject, inhale, drink, nibble, rub all over... mortals are weird.
