Looks like MPD

I've been thinking on this topic for a while now, and another topic has brought it to the surface.

Looking at my base personality, it seems very complicated, with multiple layers, traits, etc. Yet when I look at my 'public' personality, it seems very simple, but all the base traits are represented. I have noticed this can give me an MPD look at times, but instead of multiple personalities, it's one, with a multitude of traits. Has anyone else noticed this?

Well, yeah I don't know what technically would define a MPD

I suppose everyone behaves differently in different environments, with different people around etc.

I probably have a similar thing but to what extent I don't know.
I guess I place much less importance on interacting with people just for the sake of conversation etc, so that might appear to be a simple "public personality"
