Does the disclaimer work?

It's like the parental advisory on the front of CD's... and it's pretty dead in here.

It didn't work before I turned 18... there's no consequence. It's dead because there haven't been many good topics for a while.

Ah, no =P. I don't pay attention to the age limits, just the bit about "offended by adult discussions," which I am not.

I don't think this poll would work, by posting that it keeps them out then they are lying. Why else would they be around to vote that option.

I've seen no pornography in this forum. Why is there even a disclaimer? They start sex ed in 5th grade these days, you know?

I am over 18 and the disclaimer doesn't keep me out :D

I think we should let the disclaimer here. It is not about when people start having sex, it is about when people are legal to have sex... we need to give notice that there might be 'adult' material in this area.

Actually, if I remember NGene's original intention, it was to keep legal from the SJ parents that might find the site. Not that SJs are known for blowing things up into total hypes or anything...

Those disclaimers never kept me out when I was underage. If anything, they only made me more likely to look.

Exactly. Don't open this forum, you're not allowed... It'll corrupt your weak little brain... Yeah, right. ;P
