As I was driving home from work yesterday, I caught a tribute to the late Carlos Klieber (passed away last week). A shame he didn't record more. If you've never heard of this guy, check out his version of the Beethoven 5th Symphony with the Wiener Philharmoniker for a sampling. It's likely available at your public library or online through your favorite "I'll show you your files if you show me mine" setup.[/i]
