Having mixed emotions...

I just got called by my old place of employment "The Sutherland Group" to do technical testing. I used to work there as tech support for Gateway Computers although they ended up losing the contract and now they need technicians for Dell...
While I was there, I was one consistently one of the top 5 techs, but the stress from Whiney customers and unappreciative management kinda got to me... As a result I've been unemployed for longer than I care to mention, and started working on a business of my own. I have everything running for my business on the technical side, but now I need cash for advertising. The Suckerland Group pays reasonably well and it would give me the needed funding, but the thought of going back there has me full of mixed emotions. On one side, I'm looking forward to a reasonable, regular paycheck, but on the other side, I'm also wonderring if my skills are still going to go underappreciated...

I AM going to take the job, but I just needed a place to whine and bitch...
lol
:)

P.S. Should this be in the carreers section, or rants and raves?

You'll only need to work there for the money; meaning...it's a 'temp' job! You're just working for enough money to quit.

and your skills? Why would you believe things have changed? You'll be unappreciated.

...but eating is nice. Ask Sir Isaac Lime, or tomorrowteen about not having income ...

which section? Depends on whether you want career advice, or just want to vent. Your choices are your own, and you undoubtedly already know that, so I say rants & raves ...

But advice is fine too. I say if you managed to stay there before, you can stay there again. It'll suck, but we're not talking an ISTJ's 30-year career...we're talking a year to build up some reserves.
