Hi guys...I am a confused INTP. Tell me about ISTJs please, especially in a relationship. Somehow, the one I am with comes of as she just doesn't give a crap about me. We are in a long distance relationship and she hardly tells me where she has been and what she has been up to. Should I trust my intuition or hold on to her considering she is aftall an ISTJ (faithful and commited)????

Any advice please............

Should I trust my intuition or hold on to her considering she is aftall an ISTJ (faithful and commited)????All ISTJs are people before they are MBTI stereotypes. They can be unfaithful and uncommited like anyone else.

Her type seems pretty irrelevant here. I'm not about to meddle but if she's making you unhappy and paranoid, well... I'd question staying in that relationship at all. Go with your gut feeling on that, do what you will. If she doesn't give you answers than you can question her faithfulness, I suppose.

Internet relationships are a funny business, sometimes.

I am with Pooja Shmooja, I dated an ISTJ who was the most loyal person I know. She had high morals, especially about duty. But, I never felt she judged me. She was opposite of Hunt's description. In fact, I would have sworn she was a feeler, except that she had the test administered.

My father in law is an ISTJ, and JB's description sounds pretty right on. They are committed people, but I don't think they express much of ANYTHING, especially anything about what feelings they have. While I agree with Mac, I do think ISTJs are less prone to be sneaky and more prone to be committed.

At least, it's not the primary consideration, to be sure.

I know an ISTJ who they call the "ice queen" because she has a really cold type of manner towards people and is not usually feminine or nurturing (she also cheated on her boyfriend more than once). So I imagine that there are variations in this types reliability, though I imagine reliability is still important to her (just outweighted by other concerns).
