Actually I just checked out those links to the places you went. I would have totally went to check stuff like that out just for fun. When my family went on vacation to florida for a week, they just hung out around the hotel and went to some amusement park (and I hate amusement parks). Therefore, your florida vacation > mine.

going to used book stores.. there was one that had silverfish in some of the books.. it was quite the shithole and many of the books had waterdamage or curled covers or just plain dirty-ugly.
I collect cartoon books, not garfield but stuff that is more obscure such as Glen Baxter: http://www.glenbaxter.com/ and many others that none of you have heard of... *sigh*
I also collect comic books but mainly the alties...
