One of it's best aspects is that they keep all your mail for ever and ever, even the stuff you delete, so future generations can marvel at your tastes.

It can be a pain if you have to delete a lot of messages ( I can't get the damn 'wine' development list I signed up for to stop spamming me ) . Has a 99 at a time cap.

And the whole 'invite' thing is just silly.

I think I must have a problem, because I just don't like not being able to store the emails from one person in one separate folder. I hate that I can't do this with gmail. I mean, I know you can label every message, and then make all of the ones with the same label show up together. But it isn't the same. I don't like seeing all of the messages mixed together, ever.

Sounds like you like being way more organized than me...but I personally only use it to get messages from these forums, since there seemed to be some sort of delay in me receiving e-mails from here under my standard e-mail.

That bothers me, too. I like the concept of "tagging" that "web2.0" has sprung upon us, but I also like to sort my shit into folders. That's one of the reasons delicious makes my herpes flare.

Google mail, unlimited space for storing mail.
Not quite, more around ~3Gb of space, but it might as well be unlimited for normal users.

Oh yeah unlimited storage. To bad they suddenly deleted my account without a warning. Unfortunatelly the support link was broken so I do not even know why...
