Hmm... I'm thinking of making a webcomic and wanted some input from other INTP's. Even if it doesn't help me (which it probably wouldn't) I still think it would be nice to find out what INTP's think about webcomics
So why did you fill in what you did in the poll?
What would you like to see?
Do you have any comics you really like?
What do you like about them?

-Cause I like a good laugh. :]
What would you like to see?
-Funny stuff?
Do you have any comics you really like?
-Yup, you know about SP, I really liked my friend's webcomic too, but she isn't updating anymore (after telling me that the character she based on me would make another appearace, lol), Sluggy Freelance is also one, a couple of others too.
What do you like about them?
-SP is just awsome "black/dark humor" that comes close to how Mexicans think and such, which is why it's funny to me.

I like humorous webcomics related to games. My favs are:
www.pvponline.com (nice artwork, interesting characters)
www.vgcats.com (great artwork, hilarious content)
www.nuklearpower.com (sheer ridiculousness in the Final Fantasy world)
I like some newspaper comics too; Peanuts, Garfield, Fox Trot, Calvin & Hobbes, Get Fuzzy, Dilbert... the ones I like most are those with some philosophical humor, like C&H.

Look at the breakdown of the word.
Web, meaning it's on the web,
and Comic, meaning it's comical. Funny. I don't read the funnies for Ziggy, I read them for Foxtrot and Non Sequitur.

I need to think on this.. I don't read webcomics but I read a lot of real comics/strips (non-superhero stuff)...

Calivin & Hobbes has got to be the best comic ever...
*Transforms into a T-Rex and eats co-workers*
Also I chose funny, that's the most important to me. But some good political satire and sex are always welcome. Though I had to stop reading some of the sexier stuff at work.

The great pity is that so many have chosen humor while I'm not very good at it at all. Oh I make people laugh till they cry in real life but even then it's just by accident. Most of the time. Putting humor in a webcomic might be harder then it sounds.
[Edit: I've actually already have half of these although I'm enjoying the rest. Orneryboy reminds me of myself a bit....]

ok, I have decided. The comics I like have a strong dark humor, whether sardonic or satirical.. the ones I like the best are simple and to the point. Arsenic Lullaby and The Perry Bible Fellowship are near the top of my list for comics/strips...
Also, cartoonists who are not afraid to draw a penis/vagina says a lot to me.. but there is a fine line between using and overusing.
http://www.arseniclullabies.com/ <-- arsenic lullaby.
http://www.intpcentral.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=381 <-- Perry Bible Fellowship strips I posted awhile ago
Flaming Carrot is interesting as well..

I also like dry humor.. such as the work done by Glen Baxter or Rupert Fawcet

Please don't let anything I or anyone votes dissuade you. Don't worry about being funny, be yourself and the humor will appear by "accident".
Besides, all intp's are naturally sarcastic. I'd worry more about getting bored of it before you hit your stride. Damn there I go worrying again. :nerd:

Oh I wouldn't be worried. I already have my own image of how I want it to be... about. I would have found it amusing if fellow INTP's scored exactly what I wanted but you can't have everything (although you might wanna try ;) ). I'll be myself because it just doesn't work when I'm trying to be humerous. Go for your strengths.
ohhhhh... time for a new post...
