Okay, I actually have two questions.
1 You know in that film Sleeping Beaty where all the fairies go around and give little blessings/gifts and such? Well I'm wondering if we could do something like that.
I'm making a webcomic (taking place in a high school) and one of the characters in it will be a INTP. Give a trait that you think he should have (or not have). this could be something positive or negative.
2 Name your favorite fictional INTP? I'll say which one myself after I've given it a bit of thought.

Linus (from Penuts) is my favorite INTP character. (He is INTP right?)
I'll have to think about my gift.

i think batman is a cool intp character,
Hes dark and brooding, and he does things just the way he likes to and doesnt give a damn.He doesnt rely on others a lot, unlike other superheroes ala superman. Hes doesnt go overboard and is always calm.not very communicative.
hmm i think those traits are enough, right?
make the character wear dark clothes. All INTPs i know including me, do that.

I think he's a INTJ though (Batman)
S gave me a nice suggestion. To have him have no perception of time at all

Should be extremely logical and devote his life to finding out what it means to be human
Yes. I do like Asimov.

Robot? Marvin from the Hitchhiker's series comes to mind. Or perhaps Marvin the Martian from Looney Tunes?

I always liked Marvin. Robots are usually very INTP, Marvin is the cynical, sarcastic, and constantly bored kind. I'm not much like that but I can certainly identify with it. And he's hilarious, of course... It's either him, Asimov's Daneel Oliwav or Star Trek's Data.

I always thought robots (and Data) were INTJ. Too orderly.

Yes, they are a bit too orderly...
But there are probably INTJ traits that don't fit either, unwillingness to change ones mind about something for example.
I'm pretty sure Isaac Asimov was INTP, and he invented robots. Data is based on the robots in his books. Perhaps Asimov should have payed more attention to his profile... Or perhaps he just didn't consider orderliness relevant enough to be mentioned in the books. Next time I read them I'll keep that in mind.

Shikamaru Nara (of Naruto) and Linus.
Maybe Kakashi as an occasional alternate for Linus, but I'm not entirely sure if he's an INTP or not.

I tend to think of Linus as INFP.

Batman couldn't be an intp, if he was he would only sit in his cave THINKING about ways to punish evildoers.

Oh yeah, I forgot... For the INTP character, every time a problem comes up you can put a little thought bubble on him... where he thinks of a great solution to it, but then either proceeds to find a reason why it might not work after all, or just doesn't say anything about it, or gets distracted and starts thinking about something totally unrelated...

But every now & then he'd release a video.
