Went down to London yesterday. It was a good day with 2 of my friends. We shopped around quite a bit, went to eat at Garfunkles. Eventually came home late evening.

Anyway, while there I bought some tea. What I thought would be some nice Genmaicha Green tea, and some lovely Black Dragon Formosa Oolong.

They both taste awful. In fact I would go as far as saying that the genmaicha is possibly the worst green tea I have ever tasted. The formosa oolong on the other hand just isn't right ¬_¬.
So i've wasted nearly £7 on 256g of tea I will probably never drink.
I'll add them to the other 2 teas I bought in Norwich a while ago which were awful too.

<end rant about tea>

Anyway, I saw a girl with the grooviest haircut I have seen in a long time. I didn't think anyone had their hair like that anymore...

I had fun on the underground :D. Ragged that to hell that day.

Sounds like a lot of fun. If you see something called Popcorn tea, thats a Japanese tea thats pretty nice, especially having it with Miso soup.

Jabber all you wish :)

Is that popcorn tea perchance a greenish tea with puffed rice, and small bits of popcorn in it?

OH, yes it is. I just looked it up, popcorn tea IS the Genmaicha tea you were talking about.

When i've had it, it was in a Japanese restaurant, and pretty good. The green tea is a bit strong though. Well, perhaps you have to have it with all the Japanese flavors to enjoy it.

London is both Heaven & Hell. English people get a great buzz just from looking at the Thames ~~( although it's not beautiful ) because it has so much of our history associated; like Americans looking at Valley Forge or Scotsmen staring wistfully at Arthur's Seat. Some excellent, mainly 19th century, buildings; and a vibrancy in the air. However it like most cities has too many downsides to mention.

You might have enclosed a photo of the girl.

Yes, I probably would have to. I think I brewed it for too long though....it tasted like stewed popcorn  . The green tea part I can handle. I'm used to and actually quite like my tea smelling like a barn :)

I would do if I had taken a camera. I was too worried about some *enter non-pc word for "travellers" here* stealing my new camera. I wish I had taken it after all :(.

I've never had the least desire to go to Valley Forge.

But I did go to London a couple weeks ago. Well, London, Kentucky...

Valley Forge... :D

I grew up in NYC and never visited the Statue of Liberty, it's kind of wierd. I guess you always figure you'll get around to it one day.

I only have the vaguest idea where Valley Forge is and I have no desire to to see it.

Same here.

Can you describe the haircut?

Down to about the shoulders, thick but really really straight hair. Like an impenetrable wall of straight hair. Parting in the middle to show the face, but with a thick, straight fringe down to the eyebrows.

I'm convinced i've seen some evil girl off a film with the same haircut...

She was probably just misunderstood.
