are all texans really obsessed with size? When my cousins from texas came to Michigan (several years ago) to visit, they kept commenting on how things were larger in Texas. I learned recently, that this is actually a cliche... "all" Texans do this.
If somebody ever invents a "shrinking machine", I want to be there to see everything in Texas downsized (including the people!)...and THEN see if they still think that "everyhing's bigger in Texas".

Personally I don't see the attributes associated with size...I much prefer "cozier" environments. I was in Denmark for a while and those people know what "cozy" is about...of course they also know what instigating Muslim riots are about too, but they are still pretty damn cozy! (they have a word for it: hew-guh-lit (phonetic spelling)
EDIT: I have also lived in Alaska and it is NOT cozy...though it certainly is big...people routinely go hiking up mountains in the winter there...they are much more hardy than my fragile self...

Alaska is larger still.
Yes that is true - but no one worth mentioning lives there.
So - Texas is the largest state that matters.

I got lectured about that the first time I visited the east coast - I was told "Don;t start that Texas shit here!"
But somehow I still do. I am pathetic (but my state is large)

The husband of the chick who got laid by the 12 year old student in Seattle now lives there...you might be surprised who you might find hiding out in the wilds of Alaska...

Well, how many of us are interested? we can settle on a date when everyone is available. How about sometime in April?

I could probably do it sometime on the weekend but for my school's orchestra it's an incredibly busy month and for our seniors it's an incredibly busy month, so Senior + Violinist = "I remember when I used to sleep"

But Connecticut is still the greatest little state in the union.

So I hear that DC is being considered for statehood which would make it the smallest in the union... and our national capital :D

If it happens I have access to a very large loft that can accommodate everyone, two balconies for smokers too. Might only be available for another 2 months or so - my business might go under.

Did you go to school at John's Hopkins and did you design a neat glass bong? Were you ever into drawing and studied under a teacher who taught like Rembrandt?
