Just for fun...
www.typingtest.com

I got 100 WPM with an accuracy of 88% (on a fair day), but I've been known to reach 115.

The poll is only for WPM, but do not vote if your accuracy is below 75% (for obvious reasons).

I suck - about 35 WPM on average (I took it a few times). I stare at the keyboard when typing, even though I have the board memorized.

I want this:

I don't like normal keyboards... too much hand movement.

About 55 WPM at 95% accuracy. I know I'm faster than that... it's this damn laptop keyboard. Plus I was tired last night.

Low 40's. Fortunately, I am not a secretary. Anything I type I am composing as I type it. Since my thinking speed is usually slower than my typing there is no drive to improve on the typing end.

70 WPM with 90% accuracy...like SensEye offered, my real speed is much slower than that when I have to think about what I'm typing...

76 WPM, 82% accuracy, but I felt I could do better.

Anything I type I am composing as I type it.

Same here, & I'm a one-fingered typist ( to clarify, I have more than one finger, but only use one to type with ); so I put 21 - 40.

Since my thinking speed is usually slower than my typing there is no drive to improve on the typing end.

I'm thinking faster than I type, but then at that low rate I'd have to.

Freaking horrible. I don't really use homerow so much as two hand hunt and peck, and I have to look at the keyboard. Upshot: It's rare that I have to correct anything.

My typing is horrible. I use my two index fingers and my thumb for the spaces. Luckily as a programmer, typing fast isn't as important as what you're typing. The only time my lack of typing ability has really bothered me is when trying to write (creatively) directly to a computer. My thoughts when creative writing are usually much faster than my typing speed. Unfortunately they are also much faster than my handwriting speed so at least the typing is neater. So I put 21-40 because I'm fast for a hunt and peck typer.

Didn't bother taking the test as I know I type in the 65-70 WPM range.

I really don't know so I just guessed. I didn't even see the link for the test until after I submitted my answer.
