my first one:
- talking on the phone is horrible
I figure if we get at least 50 bullets then I could post them on the main page. we get to debate/elaborate each point if needed... so.. yeah..
Right now we are creating the rough draft.. final editing will be done after the point mark
Any remarks on on a bullet point will be added as a sub-point
talking on the phone is horrible(in general)
I may not like talking on the phone to most people, but I've had very good phone conversations with people I like.

Problem-solving = fun!
I don't really care, I just look like I do.
approaching unfamiliar people = not fun!
Has little love for humanity
If humanity was eaten by an alien mutant race, I would care.
Organization = waste of time.
There are different types of organization. The word simply refers to what is simultaneous with what. Mental organization is what enables INTPs to be logically coherent and detect inconsistencies in what people say. You're probably talking about physically organizing your belongings.
team work is terrible
Why do today what you can put off until tommorow?
that's funny, I've been saying the following for years: "never put off 'til tomorrow that which can wait a week or even longer."
"Yeah, I'll do it; one week from some Sunday"
Please stop the voices in my head, I'm trying to sleep.
Work best independantly, and make excellent workplace telecommuters
Absolute directness is essential, & appreciated
Because what better friend could there be, than someone who is absolutely direct with you? Even IF it separates you from them, its better. Wheres the goodness in being lied to, for the sake of temporary peace?)

The 'Lectric Law Library's Lexicon On
MENTALLY RETARDED - Significantly subaverage general intellectual functioning existing concurrently with deficits in adaptive behavior and manifested during the developmental period, which adversely affects a child's educational performance. from the Bilingual Education Act.
src: http://www.lectlaw.com/def2/m027.htm
Mental retardation is a developmental disability that first appears in children under the age of 18. It is defined as an intellectual functioning level (as measured by standard tests for intelligence quotient) that is well below average and significant limitations in daily living skills (adaptive functioning).
Mental retardation occurs in 2.5-3% of the general population. About 6-7.5 million mentally retarded individuals live in the United States alone. Mental retardation begins in childhood or adolescence before the age of 18. In most cases, it persists throughout adulthood. A diagnosis of mental retardation is made if an individual has an intellectual functioning level well below average and significant limitations in two or more adaptive skill areas. Intellectual functioning level is defined by standardized tests that measure the ability to reason in terms of mental age (intelligence quotient or IQ). Mental retardation is defined as IQ score below 70-75. Adaptive skills are the skills needed for daily life. Such skills include the ability to produce and understand language (communication); home-living skills; use of community resources; health, safety, leisure, self-care, and social skills; self-direction; functional academic skills (reading, writing, and arithmetic); and work skills.
src: http://www.chclibrary.org/micromed/00056550.html
Mental retardation is described as below-average general intellectual function with associated deficits in adaptive behavior that occurs before age 18.

INTPs exhibit the greatest precision in thought and language of all the type; they tend to see distinctions and inconsistencies in thought and language instantaneously. I guess this is similar to the "I have no thoughts, only ideas, how do you expect me to agree with you?" bullet, though I'm more concerned personally with the false impression others get that we DO have opinions when in reality we do not. It gets frustrating.
If I sound wishy-washy, it's because I see everything as a probability distribution function.

Whoever wonders why a INTP wishes to be a hermit has only to open his eyes and look on the world and his fellow man OR "looks at reality objectively... this often causes depression and the desire to live as a hermit"Was talking about how I like being a hermit to my therapist today.

so true. narrow minds will make me argue a point very strongly that i only consider to be one of multiple possibilities. but the fact that the narrow minds won't otherwise consider it, makes me determined to convince them of its validity. then they say i'm being stubborn!?! arghhh...
