Cyberspace socialization eats up a shitload of my time when I do it. Sometimes I think it's best not to do it at all.

No, not really. At the moment there's not a whole lot else to do.

Cyberspace socialization eats up a shitload of my time when I do it. Sometimes I think it's best not to do it at all. I couldn't do without cyberspace socialization since it's probably the only real interaction I get on a regular basis with my friends via messengers. Otherwise, contact with other people rarely happens. If it kills some time, then that's great too, I need tons of breaks.

I'm not an addict, I just have no life.
Really.

I have a love/hate relationship with all my habits, so I voted HELL yes. What is it about this place that is so damn addictive?
Edit: Considering that I work by myself, at home, I often drift back to the computer to check on threads and so forth. And when I'm working, I get caught up in thinking about how to reply to a post, and then rush back to the keyboard when I think I've got it figured out. Then I read more threads, get back to work, and then think about what I read. . . It's a vicious cycle.

Yes. I visit it way too much - every time I don't know what to do with my time. The problem with it is that at any single time you visit, there is some new content to read. It's like those blocks in super mario bros. I had to smash every single one of them up, just for the possibility of there being something I liked in there.

I am usually only on here at work, so it doesn't take away from my free time. However, on more than one occasion my boss has walked in and seen me staring at INTPcentral which isn't such a good thing considering my review is on Monday. Maybe he will fire me, then I can move to Timbuktu.

Most of my posts have been written at my workplace too.
But I definitely think this is kind of addiction with me. It's not healthy. I should reduce my visits here because I really have a lot to do in real life.

Yeah, I'm not an addict. I just have no job right now. I find this place to be a great place to come and socialize. People post here often. It helps to keep me from being totally bored and alone. I have irl friends, but they are all at work.
I post on other board, like a board for people here in New Orleans living with the aftermath of Katrina. That's a very important one. I lost my job because of that, and would be homeless, if my ex-husband hadn't taken me in. I know of others who are jobless and homeless. It's a surreal picture down here right now.

Having a social life takes up time.
Having an internet social life takes up time.
So either way, if you want to be a social person, you have to spend a certain amount of time on being social.

This board is destroying any efforts I would have made toward finding a job...it is so easy to let the hours slide by when you are on here...it is such an easy method of avoidance...it is destroying me...
