yeah, he's taking a lot of questions. one lady said something about some guy's theory that the president was using Christians' beliefs that Iraq and the war on terror was a sign of the apocalypse, and asked him if he believed that, and if not then why not. that was an awesome question, he was screwed any way he answered it, it was like one of those pharisees trick questions to Jesus. but he just pulled a political tap dance and said he hadn't thought about it that way and he's more of a "practical fella" and he just swore to do anything to protect Americans after 9/11.

actually, I'm not sure if that question could have trapped him anyway. he could have just said "No," and the majority of Christians would just have sermons next Sunday about the danger of misinterpreting prophecy and how we shouldn't jump to conclusions about the war on terror and its role in prophecy.

at any rate, it's awesome when unscripted stuff happens (of course, they could be planted questioners...)

LOL

It is amazing what kinda tough questions a Texan accent can get you out of... I have been tempted to pull that one off myself. PLay the "I am just a simple fella" or "common horse sense" or "My momma always said..." card. - gotta love those.

I wouldn't mind an Indian on my side, especially if he looks like SRK.

He just said he likes role reversal

he asked a member of the press a question, but I'm sure Laura on top was what went through everyone's mind   :sadbanana:

That's good stuff. Are these reporters or carefully selected citizens? Did the questioner seem critical of that idea or supportive of Armageddon as a sound policy goal?
