Just found a POS spyware program on my machine that Spyware Doctor, SpyGuard, SpyBot, and Spyware Blaster didn't pick up.
Think it's a key logger and app installer, couldn't find much info on it.
Showed up installed in Program Files\Privacy Champion\pscan.exe
Kinda interesting how this stuff always tries to install on Monday morning reboots.

Well....
Yes and no. My main browser is Netcaptor. http://www.netcaptor.com, which is based on IE.
As long as I use that, I don't get spyware. It has extra security built into it.
The occasional link I click on, in IM or Lotus Notes, pops up in IE.
I also started using Firefox a bit last week. Still trying to find all of the features I am looking for.
* URL Aliasing - for instance, I type 'tfn' into the addy bar and it opens TheForce.net. Or I type in 'VANOAA' and it opens http://weather.noaa.gov/radar/latest/DS.p19r0/si.kakq.shtml
* I don't like the search bar built in. I'd rather type 'g fuzzy bunnies' into the address bar, or 'v psycho fuzzy bunnies' for a vivisimo search.
I'm still trying to wrangle the Adblock features in Firefox too. I'm used to filtering '*.atwola.*' and I don't even get a blank spot on the page. CNN is a good example. It kills the banner, but leave a big blank spot at the top of the page. I have to mess with the configuration I guess.

Have you looked at any of the Firefox extensions? I am sure the stuff you want is already an extension... you'll just have to look....

Sometimes the blankspot is related to it being an iframe. so what you would is right-click in the blankspot and see if it says "adblock iframe"

Yeah, still digging.

I did side by side comparisons... IFrames weren't the case. I'll keep doodling.
