You actually had to ask? How stupid are you?

WTF doesn't even begin to describe it, but still...the guy lived with his parents and a 22 yr old son, how come they never did anything. There's got to be a lot more to this. Words can't describe this, though I'm sure others will try.

I'm kidnapping you. Don't leave your house. I'm not in any way, shape, or form going to enforce this. There's nothing stopping you from shouting out for help, calling anyone, or simply walking out the front door, but I'm TELLING you not to do it.

Wow, I could kidnap 50 people a week at this sort of rate. Boy, I hope none of them escape.

It's that skull and crossbones advantage.

"Hose and Kach met in late 1995 at the school where Hose, then 37, worked as a security guard. They secretly dated. She believed they were in love.

No one could take care of her better, she believed. He invited her to move in with him,"

"She agreed and dreamed of their future together - a wedding, and maybe even children. "

"Hose never physically abused her, but he left emotional scars."

"She is 24 years old now," Ecker said. "She definitely was not held against her will."

"You're 24 years old, Tanya," he tells her. "There are no locks on these doors and no bars on these windows."

These words make her cry.

"I can't believe I'm free."

What a brave and strong womin. She showed her powerful will by changing her mind and walking away from her mind controlling overlord. It is truly a great victory for self-victimizing victims!

Well, she was only 14 when she moved in, and spent most of 10 years locked in a bedroom. She may have been a little slow, but it doesn't sound an ideal existence. Since he achieved mental mastery over her and threatened to kill her she shouldn't be blamed too much.

Agreed Claverhouse, she probably is or was suffering from a form of Stockholm Syndrome. Similar to the Elizabeth Smart case.

That is almost unbelievable. Something just doesn't fit there.

Ah, the typical brutality obverse and sentimentality reverse of the Prussian character...

As a former resident of Pittsburgh, I will say:
