Wondering if anyone has any angular planets in their astrological chart. I'm particularly interested in character traits and their intensity when outer planets are on or near the angles in a chart. I have three of them myself (neptune conj. ASC, uranus/pluto conj. MC).
If you're interested, please PM me your exact date/time and place of birth.
Information will be kept strictly confidential.

purple13, I think most INTPs are not interested in astrology or any other pseudo-science to understand their character traits. They might find it amusing but not of enough importance. Well, the above said holds for me also. :)

by viewing these threads you will probably see the ones who do take it more seriously then others:

Angular planets are those that are within a specified orb, let's say 5 degrees, from an angle in your chart. Angles are the cusps of the first, fourth, seven, and tenth houses (ie. Eastern, southern, western, and northern-most points in your chart.. also called ascendant (rising sign), Nadir, descendant, and midheaven points, respectively). A planet's energy is usually more apparent in the personality when on or near an angle.
For example, if venus is close to you ascendant, it might indicate physical beauty or friendliness. Mars might mean athletic ability. Many actors have a significant neptune influence, etc.

Well there might be some INTPs who are interested, but as for me I studied astrology very closely a few years back before I met Mr. Jung to use that as a tool for analysing characters and I must admit it didnt work.
I also think astrology has many in-built flaws that do not comply with todays modern scientific theories.
Anyways, if u guys wanna carry on I wont want to discourage you.
But just wanted to say that astrology is nothing but a pseudo-science and so it is not true. It might be amusing but is not the fact.
And just for the record,
When I came up with Jung's theory I totally gave up astrology or numerology or any other pseudo-scientific theory that helps in identifying characters.
Well for the threads FileCabinet,
t232 thats becoz INTPs consider it amusing
t409 that showed INTPs remain INTPs even if astrological signs are different
Anyways guys if u consider astrology amusing or whatever just go on.
I dont want to waste more of ur time now. ^.^

yep, so...
Nobarcode - No angular planets. You have a cradle aspect pattern involving mercury, venus, neptune and pluto.
cuspuser - Sun and Uranus are on angles. Also a cradle with mars, mercury/jupiter, pluto, and neptune.
Avengardh - Mars on an angle. Trapezoid pattern (sort of).
int - No angular planets. Grand trine aspect Involving Saturn, Moon, and Sun/Mars.
Mariel - Mars and Mercury on angles. Really tight conjunction of mercury/pluto.
more to come...

I intended this thread as more of a research thing, not a debate thing. Besides, I only have half a brain (INxP). And where is that open-minded P of yours?

I'm open minded about most things, but magic, voodoo and luck don't qualify. Then again, if these things are real, then I'm probably screwed because I've some really nasty karma that's gonna get me. And I'm due for some really bad luck too.

:o My very-developed-Fness is almost offended, hahaha, lol.
Debate?? I just wanted to know if you knew what that meant...d00d.
I have an idea, fire-wise, Mars rules Aries, and my ascendant is Leo...but, err, thanks?

Sorry Aven, I think you missed Laeskis' post. I was replying to him. Ugh. Maybe I should have kept this in PMs.
You know what? I'm giving up on this thread. Not much interest here anyways. Plus I'm not really sure what I was looking for. Some kind of correlation, but I'm not sure I'm up for the effort right now. I would need more sample data anyways.

EXCUSE ME!, but did you not start this thread Purple 13? If anyone does not want to partake in your discussion, then they can get the hell off the thread.
Now, as you were explaining ;)....... From your explanation on angles, I think there may be some in my chart. If I provide you with the information, can you decipher it? No intent on taking up your time if you choose not to.
