I am currently growing a full beard. It is about 2 weeks old. I had to shave the neck part, cause there is this quarter-sized area that is whisker-free.
Why? To see if I can. I am 30 next month, so I needed to see if I was a real man yet. I have had a goatee before, but never a full beard. Kinda thin on the cheeks, but coming in.

I have bald patches on my face that make growing anything other than short sideburns impossible without hair plugs.

Shaving is one of the three worst things in the world to have to do first thing in the morning. The other two are waking up, and getting up.
I started early... I had a goatee from eighth grade onwards. In high school, people thought I'd been held back in school or had transferred in, they didn't think that I might be a freshman. Sometimes I let it go out to the full beard, and that stays until I get tired of it. (or, memorably, until this one bastard would start humming the lumberjack song (http://www.geocities.com/fang_club/lumberjack_song.html) every time he saw me.) Then I go back to the goatee. No mustache, though, in either version.

I have grown a beard in the past, to see if I could. It was not very thick, and didn't cover my top lip.

I've had a beard fo some sort since age 14, and a full beard for the most part since age 16.

Usually clean-shaven. Once in a while I used to occasionally raise a moustache for a month or so, a la the 17th century when they seemed to randomly sport one, according to prints, then erase it; but it was never greatly admired.

Yeah.

What about stubble?
Hmm. I'd say that is close to clean shaven.

I was just bemoaning the fact that I need to shave - like in the next 20 minutes before I go out. I can't stand it. I'll only do it once a week. I'd do it less but it itches so.
Not sure if I'd call stubble/five o'clock shadow (which is how I generally am) clean shaven. People will sure let me know the difference after I shave (or don't shave). I do have a mustache that I leave in.
Anyone use electric? Any of them last longer than two years for ya?

Tried beard. Bald spots. Looked cheesy. Only mustache now.

I don't need to shave yet and I'm 21.. some people think that's weird.. but I'll just say I'm lucky.
I somehow thought JimKo would be clean shaven and chubby baby faced with blue hair... hmmm... am I the only one? :D

Yeah, he's not as cute as I thought he would be (well, maybe on the inside). Handsome though.

I get five o-clock shadow by one in the afternoon. Grr.
They didn't have many options on avatar design... lotsa hairstyles/colors, but only two face shapes. The only beard they have is the wrong kind (Fu Manchu... yeah...) the wrong color (black), and it costs way too much gold (like, 4000.) Oh well. To which do you refer as handsome? Little blue guy, or fuzzy black and white photo? Thankee, I guess...

Goatee. I have two small baldspots on either side of it, though, or I'd grow a beard like Lemmy Kilmister's.
