Everyone has played Twenty Questions at some point, right? Here's an online version. (http://www.20q.net/index.html)

You think of something, and the machine tries to guess what it is. It learns with every game...

no no, it never asked me those questions. It spit out this "uncommon knowledge" afterwards.

Ah yes, now I remember that at the end.

Evidently, we have a lot of stupid people smoking cigs!

yeah. I don't think I want this program making any decisions for me any time soon. It's too gullable. Lord knows... it would have me drinking my coffee out of an envelope and smoking my mattress.

Okay, it's not perfect, but it guessed some answers that seemed uncanny! What's weird is that it's completely unlike a human playing twenty questions... The questions it asks seem almost irrelevant and then bam! it hits me with the guess. This makes it seem very strange if it's right.

If you sign up, you get to see the things that are floating on top of the list os probabilities... see what it's "thinking"...

I was just having some fun with it, ya know, like funny things kids say (because they're still learning). It think it is very cool how smart it can be. It guessed my ceiling fan no problem. I was amazed.

Play Again
You were thinking of something. (Wow. That's remakable.)

Would you give it as a gift? You said Depends, I say Yes.
Does it live in water? You said No, I say Yes.
Do you clean it regularly? You said Depends, I say Yes.
Does it eat fish? You said Depends, I say Yes.

Contradictions Detected
It does not matter if our answers disagree, as over time the game will change its answers to reflect common knowledge. If you feel that the game is in error, the only way to fix it is to play again.

I tried curtains, and it won. Hmm.. must be we answered differently to the questions.

It doesn't always ask the same questions. It is also supposed to "learn" as more people ask about the same things, so it could also be that it is now smarter about how to guess curtains.
