I did exactly that when I was a kid and it took a looooooong time for our hot water to run out in that house. Sometimes I'd even sit-down in the shower b/c I was in there so long. A long hot shower is one thing that motivates me to get up early, be the 1st one in, remain uninterrupted and still not screw the next person in.

You betcha I would. And I've done it before too...it sucks though when you've forgotten to wash your hair when it runs out and all that's left is ice cold water.

In the place where I used to live the hot water would run out pretty fast, about 5 minutes in! Yay for good water heaters.
When I was living with my parents, usually the hot water running out was an indicator that I had to leave.
I've met the guy, and I'm completely certain that you could kick his ass and grab the shower first.
I could just see him showing up at work, hunched over and eyes downcast, his boss asking, "Why didn't you show up on time, eyebyte? Oh my! You're hurt! What happened?"
He looks off somewhere down and to the side and sighs, whimpering, "Nothing. I... fell in the shower."
"Look, I wouldn't get involved, remember how I didn't say anything about the broken pelvis episode? She's gone too far, this time..."
"Oh, no no no! It's... it's not like that at all! Sh-she loves me!"
