Default The banned and the damned......Comment thread

    LOL

I think that If CTG could fly under the radar ( as ZO) since June and has the temerity to pretend to be Russian, then why not let her stay. Its almost like a new person.

IN my opinion once a person is banned if they come back as another alias you should let them be unless they start acting in a way that would merit their banning.

For Gods sake she was signed up for 3 months and had the self discipline to only post 30 times.

A person who gets banned typically does so after repeated warnings about an exceptional level of breaching the few rules this forum has.

Let's say, for example, you have a crappy neighbor.

He's seen at night staring in your window late at night. He's taken a shit in your mailbox in broad daylight. He's threatened to burn your house down. After each incident, you've either calmly told him to stop, or screamed at him, accusing him of having a problem.

Finally, you have had too much of his behavior and take out a restraining order on him. The next day, he shows up at your house wearing a costume moustache and speaking in an unplacable foreign accent, he says, "I love-a yeuu schtopharran. Lez be friennns."

    WHAT DO YOU DO?

Call Immigration and Customs Enforcement and grab a video camera.

Heh, she didn't fly under the radar since June; it just took a while to get some irrefutable evidence as to her identity.

Even more difficult.....flying around right in the radar.

While true, in the long run it's for the better that we have a thing against people circumventing a ban. This alone weeds out plenty of perpetual spammers.

The real issue though, is that CTG was given time to clean up her act and didn't. Within a short time she was back under a different name and the same antics are what caught her. She was flying under, or even in, the radar - and she was on the scope loud and clear. Might have been a small blip, but a target nonetheless. Eventually the blip got big enough for even me to determine obviousness.

Profile pic. But the posts themselves were a signal, originally.

CTG, if you are reading this, send a message to BlueWing on MBTIc or the email address I gave you a while back.
"Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death.... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man. " Bertrand Russell

The conversations between you two must be fascinating.
