    Default A test on depersonalization

This is a test I have not found here on depersonalization. This is the website:

    http://www.strangerinthemirror.com/questionnaire.html

I scored a 29 which is severe. This really suprises me. I didn't think my answers reflected depersonalization. I said it affected my job, basically because I'm so scatterbrained. I wonder if I didn't say that what the test would score.

*goes back to retake the test*

I'm wondering what INTPs would score. I would prefer that only INTPs respond on the pole. Others, please place your score in a post. Thank you.

Funny that, I was just thinking about depersonalization this evening on the subway.

    Score of 44.

    YOUR SCORE IS 39

Your score of 39 falls in the range of Severe Depersonalization (25-75).We recommend that you be evaluated by a professional who is trained in the administration of the full SCID-D interview. If your depersonalization has interfered with your relationships with friends, family or coworkers, or has affected your ability to work or has caused you distress, it is particularly important that you obtain a professional consultation.

Okay, I retook the test and the only thing I changed was that it did not affect my work. I got a 24.

What the hell do you think "depersonalization" is anyway? It this, like, a weird, mentally unstable thing? I mean, what would cause some of this? Some of it seemed freaky, like not feeling like your body belongs to you and other stuff. Never had most of it, which is why I'm surprised at my score.

Oh, well, I kind of expected INTPs to be higher, simply due to the emotional repression kinds of questions. What do you think of this test?
