    Default Famous female INTPs

There must be more...why have we not categorized them?

I am a 48 yo, recently divorced female INTP who works in healthcare as a compliance officer. About 20 years ago I embarked on a journey to find out why there wasn't anyone around me like me. After taking a Meyers-Briggs test in college...the light bulb went on. Determining that the world would not adapt to me, I learned an external persona to be able to survive.

I have yet to meet a fellow female INTP in real life and have just met my first INTP male.

You're a compliance officer? Granted I have no idea what that entails but it seems like it would be a poor fit for an INTP.

Somebody will put forth Mary Kate and Ashely Olsen, and Kristen Stewart as examples of famous INTPs. I can see it for KStew, but I'm far from convinced about the Olsen twins. It is odd that there aren't more famous INTP female scientists.

Welcome, chrilli! Did personality conflicts have anything to do with your divorce? (Feel free to shoo me if you feel I'm prying.)

I am a compliance officer but as I say, compliance officer by day, rebellious by night Literally, as I leave work, I take my badge off and say, whew, I can be me now. Although, a little of me creeps into my day life, too...which does occasionally cause me a bit of grief.

I don't see the Olsen twins either.

What's a compliance officer? Parking Warden?

Well, yes and no. Technically speaking, it should have worked as he is an ESTJ. However, he was raised very strictly Catholic and had a great deal of guilt over things that I am pretty open minded about. I was married for 30 years and tried to run on multiple occasions but life interrupted. My PCP and friend, actually suggested that I should divorce him to make me healthier (in all kinds of ways). The divorce was very amicable. He is engaged to be married next June and he feels healthier (in all kinds of ways) because he doesn't feel bound by my expectations of him. I am healthier and not sure if I am ready to engage in another relationship yet...unless I find a free ENTJ

In healthcare, it is similar to a parking warden in that I have to make certain that the hospital complies with all rules/regulations that impact how we do business. As my boss says (and many others), though, "You are a different kind of compliance officer" That is an understatement.
