Default Keirsey has the Presidential Candidates' MBTIs

http://www.keirsey.com/picking_presi...mperament.aspx

I also predicted Clinton as ENTJ and Obama as INTJ, still don't know about McCain.
Apparently he's an STP artisan.

I always thought Carter would be an idealist. The fucker had solar panels on the White House.

Nope, nuclear/physics background.

I see HRC as an introvert, and Obama as an idealist. McCain is an SP though.

INTJ? I think he's way off.. I think he's actually an ENTP (and possibly ENFP). He's been quoted in interviews saying he's not very detailed oriented or organized. Which is not something you want to admit running for president unless you are (and was criticized for it). He openly admits he needs to rely on others to help in that regard. I also find his body language more P. They tend to have more relaxed posture.

I agree with Hillary though. I could also see ESTJ but I wouldn't be able to tell without more information. The N/S is not obvious to me necessarily.

I found their rationales for how they typed a bit shoddy.

This is utter horseshit.

"Obama is a Rational, most likely an INTJ Mastermind. This comes through in his communication style – he has an exceptional ability to paint a vision, to communicate abstract pictures of the future that make sense to people, and his utilitarian approach to action - looking for what “works” rather than “what’s been done before” or “what is ‘right’”. These are vividly illustrated by his approach to the national healthcare insurance problem - his proposal is holistic, challenges the status quo, yet is designed to allow the existing system to continue for those that prefer – which gives a greater probability of implementation than plans proposing more radical change."

The phrasing about utilitarian approach and "what's been done before", usually refers to entps in the standard literature than the INTJs.
It's like he cut and pasted some bullet points in an mbti book and arbitrarly connects it to INTJ. His health care program seems INTJ? Gimime a break. This is why academia thinks MBTI is a joke.

J or P is up for debate, but I don't think that Obama is extroverted. Clinton yes, with those stupid faces she's always pulling and pointing at the crowd, "no, you! you!"
I do like Oabama's lipstick, it's very goth, very INFP.

I think the E or I might be up for debate (I'll have to find more sources to feel good about it); but in general, politicians lean E.

He's definitely a P though:

"In the days since Barack Obama first suggested that his ?greatest weakness? is being disorganized, Hillary Rodham Clinton has hammered him on it, repeatedly highlighting her own organizational and managerial skills in an effort to raise doubts about whether Obama pays enough attention to detail to be successful as president.

The way Clinton?s camp sees it, the distinction is not just who?s better at paper-shuffling and returning e-mails and phone calls.

Rather, they believe Obama?s recent remarks to the Reno Gazette-Journal and in a Jan. 15 debate can be used to make the case that he lacks the ability to hold government accountable.

It?s a story line that dovetails nicely with party criticisms of the Bush administration?s management of Iraq contracts and its response to Hurricane Katrina.

Obama first broached the issue in a Jan. 14 interview with the Gazette-Journal editorial board, where he was quoted as saying, ?I?m not an operating officer. Some in this debate around experience seem to think the job of the president is to go in and run some bureaucracy. Well, that?s not my job. My job is to set a vision of ?Here?s where the bureaucracy needs to go.??

The next day, NBC?s Brian Williams, serving as a moderator of a debate in Las Vegas, read part of the quote to Obama, then asked, ?Do the American people want someone in the Oval Office who is an operating officer??

Obama responded that ?being president is not making sure that schedules are being run properly or the paperwork is being shuffled effectively. It involves having a vision for where the country needs to go.?

Later in the debate, when asked about his greatest strength and weakness, he elaborated: ?I ask my staff never to hand me paper until two seconds before I need it, because I will lose it.?

The comment prompted laughter, and he continued: ?My desk and my office doesn't look good. I've got to have somebody around me who is keeping track of that stuff. And that's not trivial; I need to have good people in place who can make sure that systems run. That's what I've always done, and that's why we run not only a good campaign but a good U.S. Senate office."

I would just like to see a rational, any fucking rational, back in power, both here and in the UK. Enough of these fucking artisans and do-gooders.

No, I don't think she was, I really don't think of her much and was not a fan. In fact, I once got an editors quote box on a BBC front page story about her.

With the advent of the EU parliament, and the repeat lap dog performances cow tailing to whomever the US president may be, I don't really think much about British leadership at all, the socialists were no better than the neo-conservatives were. It's time that people in the UK come to terms with the fact that become ordinary, and even predictable, even on their own continent. I think there's an abundance of ESFP there, or whichever type has the highest assumption of entitlement.
