hey ho.
Fellow intps. now i know it's in our nature to let things slide, the sly comment, the wannabe leader, the brutish fellows making stupid comments, gossiping, being loud. but when is enough, enough? i (we?) tend to take these things in stride till i hits a critical threshold when i (we?) explode!!!!!!!!!!!! Then people think - wierd - psycho I think it would be better to be more forceful but measured immediately, than to allow things to stir? how exactly do you do that?

It's all about the art of giving immediate feedback...or at least at some point not too distant from the event. At work we call it STAR-AR
S - situation - "When you were on the forums" T - task - "you were responding to some comments" A - action "you told me I was a no good piece of shit" R - result - "it really offended me to the point of contemplating suicide" A - alternative - "had you said something less offensive and more constructive" R - result - "I would have given you all my casino cash" |

I don't really care that much.

I think that's what she means. :/
But yea, very important to care for that little extrovert every now and then. Otherwise he'll make you look like the biggest douche in the world.

You have no influence on or in my life whatsoever. Talk is just noise. Shrug it off. It doesn't really ever mean anything.

Because westerners are not accustomed to ancient Jewish / Muslim cleanliness customs about personal hygiene with left (sinister) hand and eating - greeting with the right (Dexter) hand, the passage "If a man strikes you on the right cheek then offer him your left cheek" is often misunderstood as an admonishment to absolute passiveness.
Thus, if a man backhand Bitch-Slaps you like he might a slave, then get so in his face that, if he has the balls to do it again, it will be on the left cheek as an equal.
